Re: new trees Lilly Pilly and Bottle Brush
Well I finally had a chance to work on these today they all have some problems to overcome.
The 2 Lilly pillies where In a a very soggy soil and had a fair bit of root rot starting. I stripped out all of the rotten roots I could get to, chopped them both down and repotted.
I did take a few cuttings which should be good for minis if they take. Any tips are welcome for this as none of my previous Lilly pilly cuttings have taken.
The bottle brushes on the other hand had a slightly different problem. They were very very pot bound. Not just potbound but potbound 3 times each from where they had been repotted previously.
The only part of the roots that were getting any water were inbetween each layer and around the outside of the pot.
These also received a fairly hefty root pruning, and have been repotted a bit better than before.
Pictures will be coming shortly, when my Internet starts working again
cheers Regan

There wasn't a lot left, some lily pillies bottlebrush and a heap of bougies mostly small bougies but everything is cheap
