Repotted 2 weeks ago into this oval chinese pot. Just waiting for it to settle and hopefully get a wire and tweak next month.

Re: Rose or Weeping Sheoak
Might just be the picture Antonio but it looks like it is on the wrong side of the pot
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Re: Rose or Weeping Sheoak
The movement of your tree seems left to right to me. So the tree generally will be on the left side of the pot with the movement heading over the pot.

Re: Rose or Weeping Sheoak
No Brett it must be the photo and the tweak that it needs. Base and Apex moving to the left. Foliage is also heavier on the left. Thanks though.

Re: Rose or Weeping Sheoak
If you moved it anymore left, it'd just look odd. Placement is good IMO. Nice tree Ant.
I really do wish they'd hurry up and grow.

Thanks Tee, Yes it needs to just turn a tad anti clockwise. Tieing in trees and getting them to stay put and behave is an art in itself! That plus a wire and all will be good. This one will be going to the fair in 2012.

Re: Rose or Weeping Sheoak
I know what you mean! I've ripped out and re re potted many times after looking at my efforts.
Wrong angle, too high etc... It's tricky.
I really do wish they'd hurry up and grow.

All right Ant, now i am inspired. i'm gonna go and photograph mine and seek help with it. I think i have to change its design totally now that i have seen your progression.

Re: Rose or Weeping Sheoak
Try this
To the left just enough that it does not look in the middle.
