Where does one acquire this from...there are alot of threads on using it but was wondering where you would get hold of some :)

Most (mossed) local nurseries carry it, even B@#!&^%%%$s

Suggest Bunnings, *&^%$* tho they may be. You will get it cheaper than smaller places.

I have no experience with either sphagnum or peat moss but there's quite a lot on Google and elsewhere about it being dangerous to health if not handled properly (the same goes for potting mixes too). This video explains something about it. Of course, there are lots who pooh pooh the idea of a health risk too.

ok boys...went to bunnings and got a bag for $9.50....bargain so now i will wrap my fig and see if i can get some of those aerial roots that you guys talk about....will take some pics of before and after to see what it does.......

Make sure you cut around the trunk and ringbark your tree first ;)
