Liquid Amber Group

Post by 59holdensrule »

Hi all,

Hoping I can get some help here.... :-)

I have a liquid amber group and am a little unsure of pruning and leaf reduction techniques.

The group is quite old and has not ben maintained all that well over the past few years. I have not repotted yet, although it will need repotting prior to next growing season.

I am more concerned at the moment with pruning and how "hard" to prune and what to prune. Would also like to reduce the size of the leaves so have started removing "larger" leaves......

I am a little (lot) nervous about getting stuck into the group as i really do not want to do any "damage", so any help/advice would be greatly.

Will post pics if that will help......

IU have Several liquid Amber and prune them constanlty thru the summer

I will pinch out the tips when i get 2 leaves opened or lese let it grow out a little then cut back to 2 leaves.
Whenver the leaves Grow larger than I like, i remove them completely leaving just the ones the size I want to keep to
