Every time I come back to this post to drool I realise I've attributed this amazing tree to Anthony instead of KCAR. My sincere apologies for my error, you both produce amazing trees!

A few more pics to add to this progression. Have just let this thing grow in bigger pot & was lucky enough to not have a fungal attack this winter past.
It kept all its old leaves throughout the colder months (until now)
Enough words - here are some pics.
Wounds are healing where I had to previously cut off major branching due to fungal attack - no cut paste used - now shooting aerial roots from same locations.

Love the 8ball for size reference and it looks good maybe should become part of future display with a mini pool table for stand lol.

A lot of aerials have now made it to the soil level.
More than I've ever have previously. I will try and use these in the tree's future design as they strengthen.

Yes, three years of La Nina even had some aerial roots growing in Canberra, which is unheard-of! The trunk is becoming more complex and rich - do we see the tree any time soon?

Now heading into 20 years of this tree being pot grown...another few photos to keep recording the journey. Especially keen to see how quickly the new aerial roots thicken, now that most have hit the soil level.

You've inspired me to see what I can do with the various aerial roots I'm seeing on my figs. Normally I would just cut them off, but this latest crop you've shown here is fabulous!

Re: Ficus 15yrs pot grown progression - A photo journey
Tennis anyone?
This fig has been left to grow whilst developing it's aerial roots. Today it got it's defoliation.
We've had a few really hot days here in Newy & as such some of the outer leaves copped a tiny bit of sunburn.
What felt like 20 hours later & all the leaves eventually cut off.
Elongated branching removed
starting to get it's silhouette shape back.
Aerial roots just keep coming!!

It has a fine jungle-feeling, you've exploited the random roots well. Thanks for posting,
