Japanese Quince?

Post by Watto »

I think this is a Japanese quince (again I think its the fruiting type) but nothing is certain because I dug this a couple of years ago from an old abandoned homestead out in the sticks while scouting for other trees to dig. Someone may be able to put me on the right track with this later, after it is in leaf, and hopefully flower.
This is its first bonsai pot and I am looking forward to the development stages. I haven't made up my mind on the preferred front yet so please feel free to offer an opinion. Cheers.
