Trident Maple - Domancy Sub Tropics

I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I have a fifty-year-old Trident Maple and live in a semi-sub tropical zone - Brisbane. Has anybody hot any tips on how to help it with a dormancy period.

I live just south of the border, not far away.
Tridents don't need much help at all during dormancy - just don't overwater.
