i've been trying to pick something not to like about the pot and tree combo, but im sorry ant... after much thought, i like the whole "glow" of the composition, i can see the bright golden sunshine smashin through the clouds on the tree and the cliff after a rain...

thats of course when you've styled it, so... when ya gunna do it :?:

:D
i was wondering how long it would take for you to come round. 8-) juniper conferta is very finicky so just letting it settle and waiting to find some time. :D

Didnt think you were old enough to be this retro Ant. Do i like it..no.. is it different ..yes. Did it get people interested..yep, so the positive is that it got people looking and thinking about different combinations. What i want to know is... WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING!!!

Ah..just a boy. 50 is just the beginning Ant. I reckon you will get better with age. Look on it as a good bottle of wine.

Hey Ant.

I like the green pot over the red. Not sure why, but to me it's a bit more appealing.

Cheers

Hi Ant,

heres my humble opinion, I am a firm believer that the pot needs to compliment the tree. Therefore the only problem I have with the pot is it takes attention from the tree.

With all this said that is your tree and it is your art of Bonsai you are expressing so do what you want, not what is the "norm"
