Re: Nowra Bonsai Show?
Mate i grow up in Cambewarra which is a small village 5km out of Nowra. I wasnt into bonsai untill i came north to queensland which is a shame as the south coast has some amazing trees and flowers. I know of some VERY nice trees around that area, There is a few private growers, one who attends the berry markets has a nice collection. Cambewarra bonsai is closed to my knowledge but may open if you enquire for a private viewing (im not sure?) . Hope that helps, i plan to move south again in the next 12 months

Noah, that's news to me about Cambewarra nursery. When did that happen??? Do you know why?./ Will he be re-opening? If not, do you know what he plans to do with his trees?

Re: Nowra Bonsai Show?
As far as i know the nursery is still there but not sure if its trading like it use to. Its owned by a father and son team but after 17 years in bonsai the son thought hed like to pursue other ventures and has sold off most of what was his part of the businees ( he may still have alot of stuff for sale im not sure?) As for the father he still lives there with his collection which again he may still be selling some to the public? best bet is to ring and ask about hours etc if you plan to visit

I went to the Cambewarra Nursery around 2 months ago on a weekend and it was trading, so as far as I know it is still in operation!

Re: Nowra Bonsai Show?
I can advise everyone that Cambewarra Bonsai and Suiseki is still operating. Wade has gone on to do other things, but Roger is still there. A rumour was around a few months back that it was closing, but this is not the case. For those who don't know where it is at 5 Hockeys Lane, Cambewarra.

Glad to hear they are still a going concern, I have always liked both Roger and Wade, nice people.
