Hawthorn progression

I collected this hawthorn back in August 2014, I was never really happy with the straight sections it had so I made some drastic changes :fc:

Nice vision cottie, I see much more potential in your new direction than where it was. Hope it goes well for you from here, it's a nice trunk!

I love a good hawthorn, and this now has some potential. Good courageous decision.

I honestly don't know what you saw in the original material, but i'm glad you dug it up! i doubt it was ever going to be a great tree in its original form. It looks like it'll be awesome tree in a few seasons with your re-design! Well done and great vision!

Thanks for all the kind words. It took a long time for me to decide how to get rid of the straight sections but I'm a lot happier with the tree now. I'm still not 100% happy with the new apex but I guess I will see how it shoots this year.
