No idea but they look awesome!
Off to Bunnings I go methinks to see if they have any

Being a dwarf variety they may be quite suited to Bonsai culture too

I happen to work at a big green shed, but I don't recall seeing any come in yet (I work in the dock). I can find out on Monday and let you know if we will be getting any in and the prices. If we do get them in, I dare say it'll be around May/June when we get our bare root stock in.

Don't be ridiculous Ken... 2 or 3 of each is a much more reasonable number

I don't trust Bonsai, they are a little shady.

Green shed in Melbourne has had them for about 8 weeks now so they should be around.

Well I always advocate newbies getting at least 2 of each species.
1 to work on straight away and 1 to grow on for later

I agree Ken, the dark foliage is what interests me a bit, but the fact the are dwarf is also a big plus.

Thanks

The guy next door to me has one planted in his front yard, must have gotten it last year. It's very eye-catching, and I've been tempted to sneak over and rip it out....lol.

I might ask if I can take some cuttings. He has one with brilliant red flowers and maroon foliage.

Right. I'm coming over tomorrow, lets take a few cuttings ;)
In all seriousness, we probably should get coffee one day. I'd love to see your trees too Mel.
