What to do? Hokkaido Elm

Just brought and repotted this Hokkaido elm i brought in sydney last week. cleaned it up a little, exposed a few roots that were hiding.

Now i was thinking about taking one off the right double branches,or should i leave them?

Could anyone help and give there ideas? thanks

I woud be cutting back hard all over to bring the foliage back closer to the trunk.

the branches are far too long before they start to divide

Cut all the branches off and start from scratch.

I'd restart that trunk too. You can probably make cutting from all the branches. At best, I'd give some thought to using the heavy top right branch as a new trunk line, and rotate the tree over anti clockwise by about 30 degrees. It will also need to be cut a lot shorter. Though.
