To me the curves of the green pot are softer and more suited to this tree. While I am a fan of a cream pot, the corners of the rectangular pot seem to be too harsh for this tree IMO. But it all about your personal taste, so choose the pot that makes YOU happy.

Personally, I like that one much better. The colour doesn't compete with the beautiful green of the leaves, rather it accentuates them.
Whatever you put it in will look great, it's a stunning little tree.

Oval pot suits the sweep of the tree better for my money, and the greens don't clash.
Is there any chance the foliage mass could be opened out into smaller masses.
