Elm in training

Post by Blackfoot »

Guys, i have a healthy young elm in my possession that ive been agonising over.
i dont know whether to grow it out as a clump or cut some out early.
ive head it for about a month now and when i brought it home from the nursery the leaves dried right out and started browning which ive noticed a lot of my elms have done before. i defoliated it and within 2 weeks shes wearing a healthy coat again. Anyone with any input as to which direction to start pushing this tree in?
help

You can probably do just about anything you want with it. Decide what you want to do and then go for it.

I agree with Andrew. Decide what to aim for and grow that one into your dream. There's really not enough there at the moment to suggest anything.
