Hi
I have a small Judas tree and would like to ground layer it so I can prepare it's future with a nice nebari.
Does any one have experience with layering Judas tree? Do they root easily and evenly?
I have some experience with layering several species without problem.
Thanks
Has anyone ground layered a judas tree (cercis)?

I haven't actually layered this species but the information on them would indicate that they should layer fine. They grow from seed and hardwood cutting so I can't see why a layer wouldn't work quite well.
Have a look at the following article on our WIKI page. How, Why to Ground Layer

Thanks Ray.
I based a lot of my layering attempts from your experience and a comment from you really helps with the confident.
I really like my little judas but as a nursery stock, the root system is quite bad. I hope to improve it before it gets too big.
