castrol mop s diatomaceous earth

hey everyone was looking for stockists of diatomaceous earth and found that castrol have it for sale was wondering if this is the same one stuff other people are using?

marine direct as selling it in 30l bags for $60

any info would be much appreciated have a very hard time finding diatomaceous earth in melbourne

Probably Diatomite, but without purchasing and testing, no way to tell
Fill a jar of it with water and put lid on and leave on the bench for 2 weeks. Then see if it is still hard.

That's an expensive way to get it! Where in Melbourne are you? Its not that hard to find - there is usually a supply available at most club meetings, sale days etc, Julie does a good job of supplying it over this side of town(south east): https://www.facebook.com/BonsaiRoots2015/?fref=ts

thanks everyone well im over in the west so i will have to see damien havent been doing bonsai for very long about 12 months but starting to get pretty serious about it now
