Never heard of this species

Has anyone ever heard of Persain witch Hazel as bonsai because i bought one from a nursery for $5 that had a BRILLIANT trunk. Advice on this species would be great.

witch hazel is grown in japan as bonsai and is brillant material. Has yellow flowers if i remember ? i think there is a red variety too however im not sure if persian witch hazel is the same?????

PERSAIN witch hazel. it has amazing leaves that change in winter. i will TRY to get a pic.
