Tiny Trev Takes a Turn

Post by anttal63 »

this is a dwarf lilly pilly used for low hedge borders. my messsage here is " when you think you have made a tree think again" although this was the slower way of getting there, the lessons learned on this tree are a valuable part of my bonsai education. so nothing wrong with taking the long road as long as at some point you have learnt from your lessons, bite the bullet and push your tree to the next level. where i believe this one is going. the first photo is from 2006 and then each year to now. :D

Sometimes you just have to go with the chop job because aerial layering takes TO LONGGGG

Hi,

I like the first one. Any sign of flowers yet Antonio? I used to have a normal (not dwarf one)
one and it was very strong.

Cheers.

Ant, youve posted the photos in reverse order! Just kidding of course. Its good to show the beginers just what you can do to these things, and remove the fear that "Natives are too touchy to bonsai". Nice work!
