Would like to know what pot size should I use on starters or pre bonsai from the nursery and whats the ideal time to repot the following?

April-May Repot from what I heard
- Hinoki Cypress *
- Cotoneaster**
- Kyoto Serissa*
- Flowering Cherry**
- Shimpaku Juniper*

*Starters with 5x5 square pot
**Pre with 10 diameter round pot

Repot at the correct time of the year for each species.
use a pot 1-2 sizes bigger than what they are now to grow on and develop.

use a pot 1-2 sizes smaller than now if you are intending to pot up a "finished tree' into a bonsai pot.
