nice tree--wondering about opinions on presentation--would it look more stable or older or anything else if it were planted deeper so the lower trunk wouldn't look so bulbous(reverse taper) or is this an acceptable feature of this tree?

any discussion at all?

Dunno why no one else has commented, But id not have a problem with the lumpy bit on the bottom.
I would like to see a close up o0f first, but I think it looks ok and in character of the tree.

IMHO rules are meant to be broken and this is one example when it is okk to do so. At least in the pictures posted. in real like might be a little different
