Hey guys! just bought this plant today from a bonsai store for only $35! i just wanted to make sure that it is in fact a canadian maple bonsai because it didnt come with a tag or anything. Also a bit of tips on it would be great! i am also curious to know if the leaves full of

Hmmm. One of you may be right, could be sycamore tree, could be canadian maple, could be acer rubrum. But I reckon you are going to have a struggle on your hands growing this as a bonsai. The coarse growth, long petioles and large leaves are not ideally suited to bonsai culture. Sorry!
After roughly 20 years of growing bonsai, I reckon I might just be starting to get the hang of it...
