Time for a trim on this young elm. Been going on it for two years since a seeding. Long way to go :tu2:

A stick in a pot is better than no stick at all. Remember even the best bonsai started as a stick.

A zelkova?? Looks like a healthy tree at any rate and I reckon you're heading in a good direction, some more taper would be nice if you can manage it. Keep posting development pics!
