Comments for this final entry.
This I suspect is a kind of retusa.
Fast growing and easy ficus.
The tree was trunk chopped, back budded very well, and new branch structure developed from the shoots This tree will be a informal upright with rounded canopy, like African figs in nature.
Shohins dont have many pads, but on this one very good primary branches were developed.
I had a large sacrifice branch at the bottom that I cut off at the base, but the lowest cut branch was left as a new sacrifice so the trunk is fattened some more at the base.
So far roots were drastically reduced , and at a later date a large root was cut at a slanting angle close to the trunk in order to create a better nebari.
Wiring was used as a method of branch development, combined with
Branches need to be fattened, better ramification achieved and leaf reduction commenced.
The second section of the trunk is too long for my liking, so ones it is thickened a bit more, it will be cut in half.
Hopping to heal the wounds too.

Thanks Ces,
This one was easy, but I killed or messed up so many of the rest...He he he!
Travels dont help my trees. Every time I come back, I find dead trees.
