It doesn't appear to have any trunk of sorts? Why not buy them and put them in your garden, looks like a really nice shrub. And see what happens. At least they won't grow into a monster like a palm I bought once for $10 bucks thinking it was a Chinese Fan palm, turned out to be a Mexican palm with razor sharp stems. Now higher than the roof. LOL. :aussie:

Maybe not for bonsai but would make a nice accent plant!
