Hi All,
I am looking for Cottonseed meal to make ferterliser.
I have not had any luck sourcing in Sydney.
If anyone knows where I can get it from in the greater Sydney area it would be much appreciated.

Re: Cottonseed meal in Sydney?
Let your fingers do the walking and make heaps of phone call, your best place to start is fodder type stores. I had trouble finding it in Adelaide but persistence got be there in the end and I found a couple of suppliers. Also ask for Soyabean meal as it can be used the same as Cottonseed meal.
I asked what it was used for in the store and the guy told be they put it in horse feed as it has small traces of arsenic in it which helps shed the horses coat.
If it can be bought in Adelaide I'm pretty sure you'll have no trouble finding it in Sydney.
Let us know how you get on.

I have no idea where you can get it in Sydney, but try outer suburb produce stores where there are horses. You'll have to call some places, many wont stock it but can order. you can use most high protein meals.
