Went to help a friend look around for material and ended up finding something myself which I felt would make a good bonsai. This tree was sitting in a pot at the back of the nursery not even displayed and I asked the owner 'how much". She kindly replied "is $5 ok?" so I said "sounds fair."
I'll be honest, and acknowledge that my bonsai skills are about as good as my spelling and grammar, but felt this tree had something about it and perhaps that I could help show that. I packed here up and took her home, gave her a bath and then a haircut.
Here she is after I did some cutting and wiring. I'm a very happy chap at the moment and feel that I've given it a good start. Looking forward to getting some critiquing and or comments.
