fertiliser and pines

Post by badabing888 »

Hi All,

2 questions i'm hoping some people can help me with.

1. How long after decandling (last week in jan is supposdly the best time in perth) should one wait before fertilizing ? (i'm 4-6 weeks out from when i did mine and i've only given seasol as recommend weekly after week 4 but i wasn't told when to begin feeding.

2. How late before fertilization should stop before winter?

Thanks all

Daniel

I'm sure you can add some fertiliser now. I usually keep my liquid fertiliser going once a week until the end of April.

Hi badabing888,
The following link is to Ryan Neil's lecture on pines. I found this most helpful concerning, when to fertilize and the reasoning behind the regime he explains.
