Nice pics arklan. At least your skill level won't be a factor because customs will make the decision for you.
No chance of getting any of those litlle darlings into Western Australia. Hell, we cant even bring one home from the East Coast of AUSTRALIA!
How can you ever succeed if you are afraid to fail?

Yeah where abouts is this? Im going there in November.

I imagine importing from Indonesia to Sydney would be a gigantic cluster F! Were they really cheap?

Damn!! I spent nearly 4 weeks in Bali earlier this year and I tried to find a bonsai nursery while I was there with absolutely no luck!! There was one supposedly as part of a cafe in Nusadur, but when I went there it had closed a year or so before and noone could point me in the right direction. PLEASE put up the address, as i may be going back next year and would love to see it.

Sorry to put a dampener on things but the most impressive of these trees appear to be Pemphis acidula, a tree which is now critically endangered because of collection from the wild for the bonsai trade. Please think carefully before buying!

We were there a few months ago. Right next door to our resort in Seminyak was laundry whose owner was clearly a collector. They had a beautiful large fig outside the front door, and the roof top was lined with some really stunning trees.

I was tempted to ask if I could check out the trees on the roof more closely, but was always too busy.

Hay guys, I have found an address for a bonsai garden in Bali as I'm heading over in a few weeks.
It is: "Sanur Tropical Bonsai Garden". JL Danau Tamblingan No. 27 Sanur Denpasar.
Hope it helps.
I'm a bonsai virgin so please be gentle.
