Re: Repotting 1st timer!
Due to being busy with three kids under 5, I often forget to repot my chinese elms at the 'right' time. They have been done in early-late spring and into the middle of summer all in full leaf and pushing out growth. I treat them all the same and put them straight out once they are repotted. I'm still learning but I have found what works for me here in Perth.

Re: Repotting 1st timer!
Thank you once again for everyone's advice. My little elm friend is doing great, little buds have started shooting up everywhere in the past few weeks, it was rewarding knowing that my first ever potting didn't go so horribly
I managed to also buy a serissa snowleaves for my finance the other day so I'm now hoping that all goes well with this one too

I know just how you feel. I got one tiny leaf on mine then it sat there for almost 2 weeks doing nothing. Then almost overnight it got new leaves & buds coming up everywhere.Red-maple wrote:Thank you once again for everyone's advice. Hope yours continues to thrive!
