I just wanted to share a day in my life at my property with you all. My helper and i had a busy day on Friday consisting of, preparing a couple of layers, one on my Casuarina on that one. One from my orchard which is a nectarine i have been getting ready for years and hope is successful. We then prepared a Melalueca for collecting, which i also have high hopes for, Mowed the property which is stunning at this time of year. Watered the Bonsai and had a cup of tea. Hells Bells i am nearly as busy as Alpine.

Mate, I know what you mean about being busy. I retired 4 years ago. I have come to the conclusion that retirement is a fallacy. You have a wonderful looking property there mate. Wish I had just a fraction of that space.

Not only am I involved with Bonsai, I also belong to two Model Railway Societies. I am secretary for one and also the WEB administrator. We have just finished a two week venture with the Art and About Sydney Festival. I also have a real passion for photography. I have been involved in photography for 50 years or more. I used to do demonstrations and judging, and was with the Australian Photographic Society for some years as well as being the Technical Officer for a period of time. These days I do my photography more for my own enjoyment. I occasionally take on special projects related to photography.
All that before 10am All those trees down the hill in blossom would certainly make for quite the pretty picture
The nectarine certainly does have cascading amounts of potential and the Cas will be super sumo, hope it works did you do a full ring bark method on the Cas?

Hi Ryan, I also like the nectarine and hope the layer is successful. It is a plan coming together after many years and i am excited. It is coming off a tree planted in the 60's.
The Cas is a bridge layer and the large pot will stay there for a while i reckon.

I had a luxury of visiting yesterday to pick up a very nice hornbeam
Wired it up when I got home will be very nice in years to come
Bodhi that nectarine will be magnificent no doubt in my mind
