this is a Juniper Procumbans I purchased from a nursery some time ago. The tree is growing over a large piece of limestone.
I have done very little with this tree save a repot into the current training pot last autumn. I've just let it grow freely but I am now ready to start thinning the foliage and getting an idea what direction the tree might show me. its by far my best tree and I hope I can do it justice because in my opinion it has the potential to be a really nice tree, especially for a beginner like me.

I have yet to choose a front but I have an idea that the roots and rock combined with trunk movement will be the central focus of this tree.
My plan, which i have just started, is to begin dealing with the abundant foliage and getting an idea of branch structure etc.
I will post more pictures as I do this.
Any ideas or opinions appreciated
cheers
