[withdrawn][Mojo Moyogi] Corky Bark Elm #1

Post by Mojo Moyogi »

Corky Bark Chinese Elm - Ulmus parvifolia 'Corticosa'
Sourced from: Orient Bonsai (who would have sourced it from Ray Nesci) in 2008
Cost: $33
Current height: 450mm
Current width: 210mm

Note: Trunk chopped in spring of 2012 cause I got sick of looking at the top half, a month later I trimmed the new shoots on the 1st and 2nd branches and now must remove them and use virgin basal shoots as per the rules. The illegal growth will be gone in the April fools day proof of date pics.

Cheers,
Mojo

Withdrawn. Will continue to develop in time period allocated outside of the competition. Nothing done to this tree yet will be re-potted shortly, despite being in leaf.

Cheers,
Mojo
