Too late to report and root prune?

Post by k2bonsai »

Just got back from 2 weeks in QLD and this weekend was going to finish off my root pruning and repotting. The larger trees were all done before i left and i only have a few small maples, tridents and chinese elms. Just took a quick look then and discovered a number of buds have now started to burst into leaf. Is it too late to carry out the prunning now this weekend?

I woud still do them if mine
Just make sure you do not root prune too hard.

Although Shibui does them in summer, I am not that brave :-)
