As far as I know, it is ok on a Euc, but I'd wait for a more knowlegdable person to confirm that for you. That is just what I've read through a search of the net... and that isn't always correct :)

here is the link that I was reading: http://www.ehow.com/info_7933874_lime-s ... ungus.html

Do you have a pic of the fungus?

I have some on one off my trees also, so I am watching this thread with interest. I haven't got any photos but looks like powdery mildew on mine to me.

mines like powdery mildew too it wipes off.. but ive noticed the leaves are starting to curl and die so ive sprayed the affected trees with lime sulfur see how it goes in the next couple of days..

the lime sulfur did wonders on the trees affected with the powdery mildew except for 2 of them witch died..... so ive moved the trees to full sun and covering them up at night. this was a month or so ago... but since its started coming back!!! im thinking it be because of the soil ive got them in as it holds a lot of water, tho i thought that might affect the roots more so then the leaves i dunno.

Hi,

One of the basics of growing Eucs IMO is that they require full sun all year round or at least for the first 3/4 of the day. The best way to weaken a Euc is to put it in the shade. The only time mine go in the shade is for a week after re potting then back out into full sun. I have very few pest problems with mine over 18 years of growing them.

Regards

Peter
