Clean Up

Post by Jag01 »

Before and after for an autumn clean up.

6 Hours of trimming and wiring. I am looking forward to spring and the flush of new growth to fill out the tree a little.

cheers,

Jeff

I have no knowledge of pine developementwith pines can you maintain the overall height and structure while taking the time to double the trunk thickness--or does it just develop into a larger tree from here

This is a Juniper and not pine, however the concept will be the same. This tree will not get any taller (if anything I may reduce the overall height in the future) however from here over time the trunk will develop more girth. The more foliage the tree carries the quicker the trunk will thicken.

Cheers,

Jeff
