collecting liquid amber seeds.

Hi all,
Has got any informative info on the collection of liquid amber seeds and the propagation process.
I'm pretty firm with stratification techniques,but the
Google searches lack in a lot of depth on what to look for in a seed pod/ball,good trees to collect
From an so on. Any info or opinions on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Wait till the Seed pods start to brown off and collect them then.
This should be just before they open up.
Put them in a Paper bag or jar out of diret light and they will then open on theri own and the seeds will fall out
Sprinkle onto a Seed tray with a bed of Siol on it, and cover with a layer of soil to stop them blowing away.

Keep moist and warm and they should sprout in early spring.
You can plant them in late winter, and no need to cold stratify them either.

I have two mature liquid amber at my house.
They tend to grow like weeds here. Maybe it's a blessing? Maybe it's a curse?
I have found that like most seeds, ample moisture and some nice friable soil you will be putting more into the compost than into bonsai pots

No more that maples I reckon. Similar growth rates to trident maple
