Your post is quite ambiguous. What kind of advice do you want?
Unfortunately I think that stump will probably die. I could be wrong but there are not many roots there. If you're after advice on making it live then pot it up with some well draining mix and give it seasol once a week. But if you haven't already potted it in something it's certainly going to die...
Good luck

I concur, older trunks are harder to keep alive. I had one probably a quarter the age of this one and much more feeders... it shot buds twice but both times lost it and then just died.DustyRusty wrote:Hey mate. Very difficult to get beyond the bud stage.
Good luck though,

There are many ways to do things, but only one "best" way.

Thanks mo I hope it survives. I've got a lot more stumps in better condition. But in saying that
There substantially smaller.

Free draining mix is good advice - I would give Seasol every couple of days and keep it in the shade. It may survive - I have no experience with this species. Good luck

Re: help potting a very old jasmine trunk.
Yesterday I thought I would put it in a bucket of seasol for soak over night.
Go and check on it this morning and it had struck 3 or 4 large white buds. Hope its a sign for things
To come. Although mo said he could get it to bud
But died shortly after.
