Autumn 2013
After a few cool nights a week or so ago the first trees are starting to show some autumn colour around my area. This week I noticed the first real colour in a few of the bonsai.
Please feel free to add any of your autumn pics.
This trident group was the first to show signs of autumn colour about a week ago and is now well coloured. The other group has also started. There is a little colour creeping into this English elm. I have also included this crabapple. Leaves have not coloured yet but it did have a good display of little golden apples until last week but I did not get a photo before the birds. More pics as the season progresses

Autumn 2013
Looks like it might be a good year for colour up your way.
Not sure what type of colour to expect this year here in Melbourne. The tridents have had multi defoliations so maybe they will turn some nice shades.
We never seem to get as nice colour as the those you get up your way.

Love your trident forest (and the others too). Inspiration for my attempt in the shohin comp, although mine must be much shorter
Bonsai was meant to keep me away from the computer.

2 shohin tridents yet to colour. Both into bonsai pots this winter. I will sell the left at some point but the right is a keeper
