Port Jackson Figs
These are some cutting that are basically giving me the shari's , so i decided to reduce the stock by making a couple of triple trunk versions .When 6 becomes 2 that' s reducing , maybe not in size but definitely in number.. I'm hoping to produce more of a raft style than a clump style .They were simply screwed together with stainless steel screws .Well that takes care of 10 minutes of my day , mind you i planted out 4 trays of Mini Red Crab Apples before sunrise and prior to the wife waking this morning
She's on an RDO so i let her sleep in .
, i had things to do before the heat of the day

Re: Port Jackson Figs
Hi KYBonsai , mate due to health issue most things around here have been neglected . I have played with these over the last 2 weeks and potted them into various configurations so they can be moved indoors for the winter . I defoliated them earlier in the week , not much to look at but it is progress in the right direction .

Re: Port Jackson Figs
Hope all is well mate
They look healthy so that's good will be good to see them in few years
Glad I don't have to bring mine in for the winter, living in the tropics is great for figs

Re: Port Jackson Figs
Hi KyBonsai , Things could be better but no-one to blame but me . The tropics has advantages as does the multi seasoned Southern state . I'd like to get the growth rate of the tropics , i have the set up , just not set up . I'm a gunna one day when i'm fit and dangerous , set up the hot house that's been filed in the shed for a few years .
