Thanks for posting the photos, miyagi and Ben.

Ben, which Eucs are photos four and five? Very graceful both of them. And the howitii is well thought out, for me. Most of them, mine included, just flop over and keep on going...

Hi Gavin 4 is a Nicholi and 5 is a River Red camdulensisisis spelling???? I met the owner of those trees and had a great chat with him, apparently had them for at least 20-30 years
If you cant make a tree look like a tree then bonsai would difficult!!!!

Is that a Babingtonia Virgata?

If not what is it?

Me likes very much.
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Diosma pink variety from memmory
If you cant make a tree look like a tree then bonsai would difficult!!!!

I've been looking at diosma for years thinking they might make good bonsai, but never seen one so I keep walking by them. I would bet it takes a while to get a decent trunk.
