Hi everyone,
I've read a bit about these being used as bonsai soil. I wanted to experiment with them and wondered if people in Sydney could guide me as to where I can buy them, preferably in bags (eg 10 or 20 kg bags). Appreciate any help you can share.
Sincerely,
Quanyesan

Re: Pumice, decomposed granite and pine bark
Pumice you buy from:
Ausperl
factory at : 18-22 Mcpherson st, Banksmeadow, NSW 2019
They have three grades, 1-4 mm, 1-7mm and 4-10 mm
Cost per 25 litre bag is $18.00 plus gst
My preference is the 4-10mm bag as you get lots of fines in it also. If you are not doing larger trees or growing larger stock fast then go for 1-7.
I don't use decomposed granite but instead use blue metal in my mix with the pumice. You can get that at BCS or any other sand/gravel/cement provider.
