Deep into the African continent...in the jungle...the capital of Zambia. No bonsai here...or tools or wire...went abroad to buy everything.
And I am a total newbie...This is the first bonsai forum I joined...when I was in Japan...and bought a tiny bonsai in a pot 2x2cm . MHSRIP! He he he!
But later in october last year I dug out of my garden my first bonsai...Since that first dug...there is nothing much left in the garden,,,he he he! I dug almost everything for bonsai.
I never new before it so nice.
I forgot to say that I just came from a conference in India and brought a suitcase full of plants for bonsai...I collect figs.

Just chopped it and it has shot nice new shoots.Time to grow a leader and some branches. It will be a tiny bonsai.
