Claret Top rework

This is a Claret top I pick up several weeks ago, it was quite tall and the bottom branch was half way up the tree, so I was not really sure what I was going to do with it.

I started to go though a few books and found some images in John Nakas' book as well as Robert Stevens' book also that I thought would work with this tree

So I have now cut off several branches and Jined two of the branches but also cut them back so they did not affect the balance of the tree.

Then I did quite a bit of carving to the top part of the tree ensuring to add a lot of detail to the carving.

The tree was then repotted into a smaller Japanese pot that I had, removal of some of the thicker roots that came straight out from the trunk as well, the pot is a little deep, but works for this repot as I want to promote growth on the phoenix graft at the base of the tree, that is also the reason for the small living branches at the base to help promote the graft to take quicker, this will be removed once I am happy with the graft.

Can someone (a member or someone in admin - don't care which) please do a tutorial on how to rotate pictures, or bankroll my trips to the chiropractor.

Bwahh Thats funny
Only problem is it depends on the software on the computer that is used. Any of the image editing applications should be able to rotate the pics to the correct way up. ( even on a Mac )

How about it Nathan ? can you rotate them before uploading please

I have spent well over an hour trying to work our how to rotate the photos tonight on the mac in iphoto and I I can do is crop them or if I rotate it just flips them on their side

If any one has mac experience I would love to know how to rotate the photos into a usable picture I would love to know

I have resized, the photos to landscape they seam a bit distorted/squashed, glad google has tips on editing photos on a mac cause I could not work it out

Here are some photos that have been flipped

I think I will just take them with the camera in landscape as I would prefer to be working on my trees and not editing photos, but if any one can give me some pointers on editing them on my Mac would love to see them

There are photos on the facebook page as well brisbane bonsai, when these are posted they end the right way up and dont seam to get distorted not sure why??

Nope but I do know that if you buy 3 more Macs, you'll have the option of being able to park your car on a steep hill without needing the handbrake
