Not your normal nabari

Now I know some people will not agree but I realy like these exposed roots on this ground grown maple. What are your thoughts would you keep them or get rid of them?

the roots themselves have potential as exposed root literati if you could get them to shoot- air or ground layer the tree off the roots--etc--

Sorry elliass,
it does nothing for me. Even trying to get my head out of the normal thinking of.."it is not correct".. type of thinking i cant see any redeeming features. A layer candidate for sure.

Lol I'm not one for being touchy come winter I might separate the roots plant them and see if they shoot.. Or keep them on and build a tree just to annoy everyone.... Lol but kidding aside this tree has a lot of work to do not to mention 2 air layers I've been meaning to do..Image

But will let it regain its health first at it was very late to shoot out this year...
