my 1st try at a bonsai.

Post by jme »

I started this little juniper as my very 1st bonsai. I'm hoping it grows well and starts to look good. I'm going for a few different level platforms and a big crown on the back. The pot it about 16inch long. I have learnt a lot since I started this plant, everything has been self taught or via looking at youtube and sites like this.

Hi Jme ....so the journey begins... Depending on where you see this guy heading I would either cut back and put into a smaller pot ie trim the long branch to the left, or if you want something bigger put it into the ground an let it grow for a couple of years..have a look on the site as there is plenty of inspiration and advice.
