Re: Goulburn Bonsai Society Exhibition
I'm going, not sure which day yet. If people from Canberra don't go, they are weak....or working.

So the Redwood turns to the Bonsai and says "Lend me a Tenner"......

Re: Goulburn Bonsai Society Exhibition
I will be heading off in about 1/2 an hour - it's a 4-5 hour trip and the weather report doesn't sound too good. I will be packing up just after lunch on Sunday so if you want to see the pots, come before then.

Might cruise down on the Saturday, pick up a pot and check out some trees. Hope to see you all there.

Well folks just on three hours before the start and everything is about ready.
Weather is cool, sunny and fine and currently 8 degrees.
A bit windy but come into the Exhibition out of it.

Keen to see what Watto does in his Demo. What time is his Demo?
My Mission - To own at least one tree that sends Shivers down your spine every time you look at it. ( Don't want much eh? )

Re: Goulburn Bonsai Society Exhibition
Greetings to the Goulburn team! I spent a very pleaqsqnt couple of hours with those friendly guys and their beautiful trees.
See below pics of Watto, Gragra, Granht Bowie and Penny Davis. I also had a photo of Mick, but something happened to it and I can't post it. I hope other people come back with more pics of the trees. Penny's jewellery was really very fine. I couldn't understand how a person who made rutic and heavy pots could also manage that fine silversmithying.
I came to the conclusion that I'd have lots of fun doing a workshop with the Goulburn guys. All strength to you!
It was really cold with a nasty freezing wind, I hope it didn't discourage visitors or poil the Lilac festivities (which we didn't have the time to go and see).
