Hey Guys,
Its been a while since I posted, but I have been lurking in the background ;) I just wanted to let you know that I went to Bonsai Sensation today during my
lunch break, as I only work down the road. Bonsai Sensation's hours are from 9am - 5pm weekdays, and weekends by appointment. All contact details are available from
their blog site here http://bonhazel.blogspot.com.au/

I thought that the Nursery was fantastic, and stock was not only in great condition, but plenty to choose from aswell! Tien is the owner along with a buisiness associate he has there called John(not sure if they own it together or not, so no disrespect intended  ). Together they make quite a great, and diverse team to create something I found truly special! Tien is very pleasant to deal with, and very easy going. I was greated on my entering, and shook hands on leaving. If you are in the south east of Melbourne, or just passing through, I highly recommend calling in, and spending a few moments, and of course dollar$, to appreciate what they have created through hard work, and passion, for us all! I certainly belive that they have some of the best there is to offer in the outer Southeast suburbs in both stock, and knowladge and also a refreshingly modest attitude.
Give them a crack next time your out and about, and support our local nurseries!
I'm sure if you have any questions, they will be more than happy to help you out :tu:

Thanks for taking the time to speak to me Tien, and I look forward to coming and drooling over your delightfull stock soon!

Thanks,
Mac

John is probably the best Australian bonsai grower I have met in terms of styling and cultivation. If he is working at this nursery I am sure there will be some great stock to be had there.

Hey Guys,
Next time I visit, I'll see if I am able to put up some pics of their stock! I did take some pictures for some friends that were interested in purchasing, but I didn't get permission to post any here? :fc:
Not my place, or my stuff. I'm pretty perticular like that, but I also don't think that photographs does any justice sometimes? :lost:

Just visited sensation nursery today. What a great place and only 15 mins from home :tu: :tu: :tu: John was great to talk to and spent time showing me around. Tien came later, what a nice guy. Both are very friendly, and with my limited knowledge were great to talk to. They have a great range prebonsai stock and good quality. John was saying their aim is to have long term quality stock ie. black pines that are 5, 10, 20 30 years old. junis the same and everything else. John said they not only work on the top of the tree but all there trees are root pruned as well so this minimises shock when the buyer gets it home to put in a bonsai pot. Also the prebonsai trees seemed to have a lot of lower branches on them as well so good for thickening trunks or using as sacrifice branches. If you are local to narre warren, deffinatly worth a visit. Will be spending a bit of time there I think.
