This is strange

Post by cuwire »

Just browsed onto this Ebay listing.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Bonsai-Tree- ... 4167068bf8

Easy to see where the bonsai is located ....... but check out the user ID!! ..and there is no buyer feedback from this user ID only purchases made so far.

Strange to say the least.

Perhaps this person has made purchases in the past and this may be the first time as a "seller"
Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.

There is user feedback from buyers. Not alot, but it is there.
I don't see anything particularly strange about it. But it's good that you are on the look out :)

Padre Pio is a Nursery out past Rays place, and is a Nephew? of Ray.

Not a Bonsai nursery as such, but sell stock trees and prebonsai
I have not been myself, but have been told much of the stock trees are spiral and multi bend type of Juniper stock if you like that sort of thing.

Worth a look apparently, but never had a chance to get along and check it out.

Thanks Ken I had no idea at all of the blood connection so it no longer appears strange.

So all good wishes to the Ebayer.

Thanks to the other responders.

I've been there myself. It's pretty good but when I went it wasn't by appointment. Here's the website http://www.padrepiobonsai.com.au/ . Nick Nesci runs and owns it, I bought myself a trident from there and was happy with $25 for the price considering it's size. He's a really friendly guy, and there's heaps of good stock. Definitely worth visiting!
