I am wondering if anyone has tried this product on trees to kick start buds or branch growth in areas needed?

Many years ago when utterly consumed by the orchid bug, I was using a product called keiki paste, a hormone in gel form that was applied to dormannt buds on bulbs and canes to stimulate/ activate growth.
I am wondering if anyone has tried this product on trees to kick start buds or branch growth in areas needed?

Hi Paul,
I have been wanting to try it for years but never managed to get any. I don't like to purchase stuff online but haven't been able to find it at nurseries or even orchid events. Do you have any to test? If so then give it a go! Maybe try on something not too special first though.
