Forty two Mice

A while ago one of the moderators mistakenly showed me a mini pot. I thought he had given it to me for Mrs Pup's collection. A bit of two and froing.She got to keep the pot.

Then Matt A alias 42 mice, who had seen said banter, sent a package of pots, each parcel named, some well Mrs Pup grabbed them.

Matt gave me a shallow blue pot and said he would like to see a raft planted in it.

Well Matt here it is and another for a bonus. All have roots, as I have been doing some native re potting still warm here, so the suckers get suckered into this.

Enjoy mate, and still looking at others for the other pots, probably elms as I have a few on the go. Edit, Oops Melaleuca rhaphiophylla

I too, have a few of Matt's micro pots, gifts from him on one of my visits.

He is a wizard when it comes to crafting such small containers.

I have to admit I'm not a big fan of blue pots, but this one has some character (in the glaze) and goes well with the colour of the branches - or are they trunks? Thanks, well done.

I just have a question regarding small pots-- I saw this little clay tray, about the size of a matchbox. It isn't a bonsai pot, it was made for something else, though I'm unsure what. But the thing is, it doesn't have any drainage holes.

I was wondering whether there would be anything I could plant on there, perhaps on a little mound of soil, that wouldn't require drainage holes? Or is this a no-go..

Try some Moss as this only needs to be sprayed to stay green. It grows with the dew from overnight cooling, it should work.
